SUMMARY:NCSE Research Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:The NCSE are delighted to confirm their conference themes and speakers for the 2025 NCSE Research Conference. The first theme will look at the benefits of close-to- practice research and we will hear from Professor Sarah Parsons\, University of Southhampton on this along with some examples of practice-based research projects that have taken place in Irish schools. Dr Valerie L. Mazzotti\, Roy A. Roberts Distinguished Professor of Special Education\, Kansas University\, will start the second theme and tell us about research conducted on post-school transitions and pathways in the USA. Beth Young\, Associate Director from RSM UK Consulting LLP\, will present findings from the NCSE evaluation of the Comprehensive Employment Strategy (CES) Transition Pilot programme.
