Irish Red Cross is organising its annual International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Conference for Tuesday 24th October at 10am in the Mansion House, Dublin. The Conference theme is “War in Cities: Exploring the devastating consequences of armed conflict in urban contexts” and discussions will include a look at the humanitarian consequences of urban warfare, the applicable IHL in these contexts, and the way forward to better protecting civilians.
